$WGT Public Sale: the First To-do in 2024
After the long wait, we are thrilled to announce that the native ecosystem token of Web3Games.com, $WGT, is about to unveil itself with public sale access on the Web3Games.com launchpad followed by centralized exchange listings in January 2024.
$WGT Public Sale Information
Web3Games.com Launchpad (https://web3games.com/launchpad) will exclusively provide access to the public sale of $WGT on Polygon Network, open to all participants who show interest by the scheduled timeframe.
The public sale of $WGT will be scheduled to start from 3:00 PM HKT, January 3rd, 2024 to 3:00 PM HKT, January 8th, 2024; where the supply for public sale will take up 2% (20,000,000 $WGT) of the total supply (1,000,000,000 $WGT) and the token price will be set at a fixed price of $0.018 per token with the targeted fundraising of 360,000 USDC. 10% (2,000,000 $WGT) of the supply distributed in the public sale will be immediately unlocked upon TGE, and the rest will follow the monthly vesting routine over 12 months after a cliff of 3 months lockup.
How does Web3Games.com Launchpad Work?
Two independent procedures (whitelisted & non-whitelisted) of fundraising will be proceeding simultaneously: those who have been whitelisted will be guaranteed a protected quota, which is initially worth 100 USDC. Allocation for whitelists will be calculated with priority. The remaining margin of allocation for whitelists will be added to the allocation for all non-whitelisted participants.
Note: the exceeding amount of USDC invested by whitelisted participants will be counted as a contribution from non-whitelisted participants.
To further explain how our $WGT Public Sale works, we’d like to raise an example:
Alice has invested 500 USDC in the pool without a whitelist, while the accumulated contributions from all participants in the pool amount to 500,000 USDC, among which whitelisted investors have contributed a total amount of 240,000 USDC.
In this case, Alice will receive $WGT tokens:
The amount of USDC that Alice will be refunded after the Public Sale accordingly equals:
Under the same conditions, if Alice has whitelist access, she will receive the $WGT tokens:
Pending $WGT: claimable amount of $WGT in addition to protected quota for whitelisted participants & actual claimable amount of $WGT for non-whitelisted participants
Alice’s refund receivable:
If the total funds raised in the Public Sale do not exceed 360,000 USDC, everyone will receive the allocation of $WGT based on the amount of USDC invested. If the total funds raised exceed 360,000 USDC, all exceeding funds will be refunded after the Token Generation Event (TGE).

What is Web3Games.com Token ($WGT)?
$WGT serves as the native and governance token of Web3Games.com to incentivize and reward activities that enrich the ecosystem. The core utilities for $WGT currently encompass:
Payment Currency
$WGT is the universal currency paid for all interactions within the ecosystem of Web3Games.com. In addition, holding $WGT means access to more exclusive deals and events.
Staking Rewards
$WGT received by our fee capture mechanism will be sent to the “Staking Rewards Pool”, the tokens which will be distributed to users who have staked their $WGT as rewards at seasonal intervals. The exact allocation of $WGT rewards will be in positive correlation with the staking duration and the number of staked tokens.
Community Governance
Web3Games.com is a decentralized gaming network governed by $WGT holders, who can submit proposals to steer the evolution of Web3Games.com in favor of both our community and the project. We’d like to maximize the decentralization of our native token to create a community-oriented blockchain gaming network with economic incentives.

In addition to the utilities mentioned above, holding $WGT will grant our users extraneous earnings with the launch of W3Gamez Network, the Layer-2 network developed by Web3Games.com with OP Stack, which has been scheduled to go online in the first half of 2024. W3Gamez Network will mark the milestone of the official transition to our next chapter of fully on-chain gaming.

Community First: 3000 Whitelist Spots
The Web3Games.com team has devoted ourselves to the meticulous preparation for this public sale in the past few weeks, during which we have been in discussion with various reputable launchpads. While we have secured listings with some of them, we have finally decided to conduct the public sale solely on our official launchpad, which allows us to prioritize early supporters with whitelist allocation, as external launchpads do not support allocation for whitelisted participants.
On the other hand, we wish to avoid launching across multiple platforms simultaneously to eliminate any possible competition with our valuable partners, given the mutual natures of Web3Games.com Launchpad and other external launchpads.
As for participation with whitelists, we will reserve 3,000 whitelists in total for our loyal community, based on the “First Come, First Serves” principle. After our review, each qualified whitelisted participant will be granted the allocation of $WGT tokens in the public sale, worth at least 100 USDC. In the unlikely event that the token price falls below 80% of the public sale price for a sustained period of 3 hours within the first 24 hours of launch, users have the right to request a full refund of their invested funds.
