CryptoEmpire Weekly Progress Updates — 25 Aug 2023
Hey CryptoEmpire players!
We’re excited to share our development progress with you for the first two weeks of the public version. We know you’re all eager to learn more about what’s coming, so we’ll be keeping you updated every week.
Here are some of the things we’ve been working on:
Week 1
Fixed hero skills and values
We know that some hero characters’ skills regarding the buff got no effect in the match-3 battles and we’re going to fix them and re-assign the values to have balance changes. This will make the game more balanced and fair for everyone.
Introduce new in-game assets GOLD
We decided to introduce one more in-game asset named GOLD. It’s a not crypto asset that can only be used inside the game and can't be transferred from account to account. This will help to solve the hyper-inflationary problem of EMP and maintain a sustainable in-game economy.
Add Challenge PvP Mode
We’re working on the art and the base logic for the new game mode. We want to create a fair challenge mode between players regardless of the Hero levels and grades. This is a great way for players to test their skills and earn rewards.
Week 2
Introduce Non-NFT Heroes
We’re going to introduce Heroes which are not NFTs. Those Heroes can be bought directly in our new in-game store and players can also get them from milestones, daily tasks and campaigns. This will make it easier for players to get started with the game.
Update In-game Store
We’re also going to make some updates to the in-game store. Players will be able to draw new hero cards with in-app purchases easily. There are different card packs for players to get their dream cards from drawing.
New EMP Utility Design
EMP will have a new utility design. Players can use EMP to purchase in-game items and get discounts on hero draws. This will make EMP more useful and valuable.
New EMP Distribution Mechanism
We’re going to change the EMP distribution mechanism. Players will be rewarded with EMP for participating in the leaderboard, challenge mode, and on-chain staking game. This will make it more rewarding to play the game.
We’re still hard at work on the public version of CryptoEmpire, but we’re making great progress. We can’t wait to share more updates with you soon!
