CryptoEmpire Weekly Progress Updates — 19 Oct 2023
Hey CryptoEmpire players!
We’re back with a huge update, and we’re excited to announce all the new features! The latest updated version of CryptoEmpire will be available for public release on October 20, 2023 at 8:00 AM HKT through a hot update! We know you’re excited about the new content, so here’s a brief overview of what you can expect:
GOLD and EMP
We’ve added a new resource called GOLD, which will be used to upgrade and summon heroes. GOLD can be earned mainly in arena mode. It is not a crypto token, but it can help you make your team more powerful. EMP can still be earned from the leaderboard and CryptoEmpire points. We’ll distribute EMP to the top 50 players on the leaderboard each day. You can also earn EMP by joining arena, bounty race, and world boss modes and collecting CryptoEmpire Points (CEP). We’ll settle CEP daily and distribute an EMP reward based on the ratio of your CEP to all players’ CEP in 24 hours.
Bounty Race
Bounty Race is a new game mode where players can compete against each other in a fair match-3 battle for EMP tokens. Players can join the game with 100 or 1000 EMP tokens. Your heroes will be playing in a special grade, so your original level and grades will not affect the match-3 battle. This makes it a fair game for all players, regardless of their experience level. The winner takes away 95% of the pool, so it’s a great way to earn big rewards!
World Boss Mode
The Bone of Thargosus, a powerful boss from the dark side, is coming to CryptoEmpire! All players are needed to join forces and defeat it in the new World Boss mode. To participate, players will need to use EMP tokens. The damage records of all participants will be counted, and at the end of the campaign, numerous rewards will be distributed, including a new super rare NFT hero.
NFT Heroes vs. Normal Heroes
We’re always looking for ways to bridge the gap between web2 players and web3 gaming. That’s why we’ve separated heroes into two types: NFT heroes and normal heroes. NFT heroes can only be minted from NFT summoning stones and world boss summoning stones. They also enjoy a 30% damage boost. Normal heroes can be obtained from hero summoning, eternal blessing, and sacred cache. Eternal blessing is a new way for web2 players to get heroes. Players can simply purchase magical crystals on mobile with in-app purchase to get summoning gems to draw hero cards. We hope this new system will make it easier for everyone to enjoy CryptoEmpire, regardless of their experience with web3 gaming. Let’s have a new match-3 battle time with both traditional and crypto players!
EMP Tokens
As promised, we’ve used the revenue generated from the beta testing phase to add liquidity for EMP tokens on our swap. We’re also working on adding more utilities to EMP tokens. EMP tokens are now the governance tokens for CryptoEmpire, meaning that holders will have a say in the future of the game. EMP tokens will only be given to players as rewards from the leaderboard and CEP, which is a measurement of activeness. After the public release, we’ll also launch a staking scheme that will allow players to earn additional rewards for holding EMP tokens.
