CryptoEmpire Weekly Progress Updates — 01 Sep 2023
Greetings, CryptoEmpire players!
We’re making great strides in our quest to create the ultimate blockchain gaming experience. Here are a few of the things we’ve been working on this week:
Week 3
On-chain Gaming Prototyping
We’re hard at work setting up the on-chain gaming features, and we’re excited to say that we’re making good progress. We’re currently testing a prototype that allows players to stake their HERO NFTs and compete on-chain. This is a new and exciting way to play CryptoEmpire, and we can’t wait to share more details soon.
Optimise Challenge PvP Mode
We’ve made some big improvements to the Challenge PvP mode this week. Players can now join the mode by paying EMP tokens to the prize pool. The winners will take home the EMP tokens, so it’s time to start practicing your match-3 skills!
Compatibility of NFT / non-NFT assets
We’re making both NFT and non-NFT assets compatible in the new CryptoEmpire. This means that you’ll be able to use your favorite heroes, regardless of whether they’re NFTs or not. We’re also making some balance adjustments to ensure that both asset types are fair and balanced.
Balance of Game Economy
We’re overhauling the game economy to make it more fair and balanced. Magic Crystals, EMP Tokens, and GOLD will all have different uses in the game, and EMP Tokens will be moving from a gaming token to an incentive and governance token for the whole ecosystem. This will give EMP Tokens more utility and meaning in the long term.
