With the remarkable advancements in EVM Layer 2 rollup solutions over the past two years, we see a renewed opportunity to establish our own blockchain network. W3Gamez Network, built on OP Stack with data availability on NEAR, emerges as the perfect fit for supporting low-cost transactions within the exciting world of fully on-chain gaming. To reflect these strategic changes, we’re introducing two distinct tokens:
Web3Games.com Token ($WGT): Remains the native token powering the Web3Games.com platform and infrastructure.
W3Gamez Network Token ($W3G): The native gas and governance token for the W3Gamez Network, facilitating seamless transactions and community-driven decision-making.
With the shift to W3Gamez Network, the pre-allocated WGT tokens designated for the Polkadot chain are no longer required. Consequently, we’ve made the decision to burn 30% of the total WGT supply (300,000,000 WGT), strengthening the foundation of both platforms.
